About Nadeeka Surangi Sampath

In my previous position, I was responsible for caring for two children while managing the daily needs of the household. I supervised their routines, prepared them for school, assisted with homework, and planned fun, age-appropriate activities to support their growth and development. Alongside childcare, I handled a variety of house chores such as cleaning, organizing, laundry, and maintaining a neat and comfortable home environment. I also prepared daily meals, focusing on nutritious and balanced dishes to meet the family’s needs. This role allowed me to strengthen my multitasking abilities and provide dependable, caring support to both the children and the household.

In my role supporting a household, I provided daily childcare while also managing various home responsibilities and pet care. I supervised the children’s routines, prepared meals, assisted with homework, and organized creative and outdoor activities to keep them engaged. In addition to childcare, I completed household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining tidy living spaces. I also cared for the family dog by feeding, walking, grooming as needed, and ensuring a consistent exercise schedule. This experience strengthened my time-management skills and allowed me to create a safe, structured, and comfortable environment for both the children and their pet.

During my time assisting a busy family, I provided full-time support with childcare and general household management. My duties included preparing nutritious meals for the children, assisting with schoolwork, organizing educational games, and facilitating outdoor activities. I also handled daily household tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, folding laundry, and maintaining an orderly living space. Through this experience, I developed strong organizational skills and built a trusting relationship with both the children and parents, ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.

In my previous role as a childcare provider, I was responsible for supervising and caring for children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being. I planned age-appropriate activities, helped with homework, prepared meals, and maintained a structured daily routine. Alongside childcare, I managed various household chores such as cleaning, laundry, organizing play areas, and keeping common spaces tidy. My ability to multitask and stay patient allowed me to create a positive and nurturing environment for the children while keeping the home running smoothly.
